Never in darkness

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  ~  John 8:12

Ash Wednesday is the start of Lent.  This is a special time for reflecting on the love that Jesus Christ has for us.  He died to save us, because we could not save ourselves.  It’s easy to forget about that love when activities and pressures surround us every day.  These things weigh on our minds and they sometimes leave us almost breathless–so we pray: Dearest Jesus, in the midst of our fast-moving lives, give us the quiet times that we need for reflection and rest, and keep our minds at peace.  Amen

Please join us on Wednesday evenings this Lent for a time of quiet reflection on Jesus, our Savior, the Light of the World.
