Urgent Prayers Needed. Stephen Schroeder (Steve or Odie) a WELS pastor for a short time and who has been honorably serving our country as a helicopter pilot since, was in a serious helicopter accident on Tuesday, January 31. While details are still few, the helicopter went down at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Four servicemen were wounded, three critically. Steve is currently undergoing surgery and is in critical condition. Your prayers are appreciated for Steve as well as his wife Sarah (nee Lawrenz), their four children & all the soldiers injured.

From his wheelchair at the 2018 Youth Rally, Black Hawk helicopter pilot Stephen Schroeder tells his inspirational story. As you listen to Stephen & Sarah in this video, you will learn that our Heavenly Father never left them alone, and how he answered our prayers for them.
