Three Holy Days

We join hearts and voices not only with our own congregation, but with fellow Christians around the world and throughout history during these three holy days.  We gather to celebrate God’s great acts of rescue, which culminated in our Savior’s suffering, death and resurrection nearly 2,000 years ago.

lord's supperMaundy Thursday, we recall the night Jesus was betrayed when he instituted the Lord’s Supper. Be assured that his broken body is for you and his blood shed is for your personal forgiveness.

3CrossesGood Friday is our solemn remembrance of Christ’s death on the cross. In a special Good Friday tone we remember the horrible cost for our forgiveness… and rejoice that it is offered to us free of charge by God’s grace and mercy.

Easter Sunday we gather to celebrate our Savior’s glorious resurrection. We recall God’s promises to earth’s people and the fulfillment of those promises. In the early church, Easter was the day for baptisms and confirmation. We recall God’s promise to us that in baptism we are connected to Christ in his death and resurrection. Christ’s resurrection is announced: He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Come and worship our God who went to incredible lengths to save us, his wayward children. Invite a friend to observe the events at the very heart of Christianity.
